Another of the trips that we have scheduled is for the Orinoco River Delta, one of the most virgin deltas in the world. A region dominated by mangrove forests, swamps, rainforests, rivers and canals where a varied abundant fauna and flora has developed, we will see an incredible variety of fish (piranhas, tiger fish, shad, eels), monkeys, sloths, alligators and infinity of birds.

The Indian Warao lives along the pipes, (in small communities built on platforms called «palafitos») dedicated to hunting, fishing, agriculture and handicrafts. As far as our camp is concerned, it is surrounded by a thick jungle where you will stay in comfortable double rooms with private bathrooms, protected from weather and from wild animals.

During the day (and night) we offer excursions to the jungle (accompanied by natives and bilingual guides) to observe the fauna and wild flora typical of the area. This region is protected by the government, and tourism is done taking into account the privacy of the tribes; That is why we appreciate your collaboration for the preservation of this region and its inhabitants.

Excursions all year round:

First day:

• Crossing through the Buja and Bujita pipes. Hikes in the jungle.
• Navigation to Isla de Aves (observation).
• Warao craft exhibition.

Second day:

• Piranha fishing in the Morichal Largo River.
• Visit to indigenous communities.
• Night excursions in the jungle.

Third day:

• Tournament of canoes among tourists. Walk around the Island.
• Free time. Creole Ball Games, Darts Launch.
• Return to Maturín airport
